Are you seeing spots, flashes, or floaters in your vision?
Floaters impact your vision and they appear to follow where you look.
Sudden onset of floaters may be a cause of concern
Longstanding floaters in front your vision are generally not a cause for concern. In some cases of a sudden onset, they can be symptomatic of another problem. A potential tear of the retina may be present which could lead to a serious situation and even permanent vision loss. If caught in time it can be treated. A sudden onset should always be investigated by conducting a thorough sight examination.
